The Kench Hill Charity is a non-profit making organisation. We keep prices as low as possible to ensure this life-changing experience is affordable to all. School visits are charged per pupil subject to a minimum group size of 26 in peak weeks (24 in off-peak weeks). Smaller groups WILL be charged the minimum group size unless by prior agreement. The cost is inclusive of full board, lodging and teaching, but excludes transport and any additional optional activity/entrance fees. For self-led groups a lower charge is applied – please contact us to discuss your requirements. The final invoice is sent post-visit according to number of attendees.

Non-Hackney schools pay a deposit f approx. 50% of final costs at the time of booking.

Staff are given free places at the ratio of 1:10 pupils.
If planning to bring a group of 35+ pupils we may be able to offer a reduced per pupil rate.
Prices shown below are for a 5 day/4 night trip eg Monday-Friday. Shorter trips are charged pro rata.

** The school journey grant was withdrawn by Hackney Council in 2014. Kench Hill Centre is actively raising funds to replace the grant and is committed to assisting those children in need.  Schools are expected to use Pupil Premium to fund journeys.
